We are asking companies and individuals to sponsor a tapestry panel for this significant project.
The stitchers and trustees generously give their time, but we need to collect $5000 for each panel to cover the costs of materials, design, freight, and exhibiting.
A number of organisations and trusts have already sponsored us. Some guilds have managed to collect the sponsorship themselves by fundraising and obtaining the support of local companies.
The trustees will apply to local trusts and organisations on behalf of guilds. We need to know the names of potential sponsors local to the guilds to do so.
The trustees donate their time and travelling expenses, as do the stitchers arround the country.
The key goal of the project is to achieve the long term display of the completed tapestries.
