History of Motoring in NZ

 stitched by the Otago Guild

From the guild
Fast plains, mud and shingle, farm roads and tracks, steep and exposed mountain roads, and winding miles down to the coast make up part of the diversity of the New Zealand landscape and the way most people get to experience it: in a car. This panel depicts freedom and movement, youth and vitality, also difficult travel, and industry and rural life.
